County sets open house for county government month
As part of its observance of National County Government Month (NCGM) in April, the Edgecombe County, N.C. Board of Commissioners will be holding an open house so that the public can become more familiar with the services available to them through county government.
“We are very proud of the essential services and programs our county provides each day and especially the people who deliver them,” board chairman Leonard Wiggins told The Daily Southerner, Edgecombe County’s hometown newspaper since 1826.
