Chairman Bell named to transportation panel

Readers need to dig deep into the column, but the Atlanta Journal Constitution reported that Clayton County Commission Chairman Eldrin Bell has been named to "a national transportation board where he will help shape federal transportation policies affecting local governments."

That would be NACo's Tranportation Steering Committee. President Eliason appointed Bell to one of five vice-chairperson positions.
